Sean Fitzsimmons is a Customer Success Director and Cloud Ninja at Microsoft during the day, but a hard core foodie and wine/spirits lover outside of work. Sean has been involved with Katy/Fort Bend Foodies (KFBF) on Facebook since August, 2016, and has been one of the co-administrators of the group since June, 2017. In that capacity Sean has gotten to know many of the restaurant owners, managers and employees throughout the Katy and greater Houston area. Sean loves to support local businesses and enjoys helping promote them through the Katy/Fort Bend Foodies group, as well as other avenues. In addition to being involved with KFBF, Sean also helps as a co-administrator of Katy/Fort Bend Wine, Spirits, Brew & Night Life Aficionados on Facebook, and is one of the co-founders of the Katy Bourbon Mafia which focuses solely on promoting the love of all things Whiskey in the west Houston area.
In addition to being very active at local restaurants, Sean also loves to cook himself. Sean owns two big green eggs that he primarily cooks on, but he also has spent time over the last few years getting more comfortable cooking inside of a kitchen. Some of Sean’s specialty dishes include a tour of beef, which is multiple cuts of grilled beef, Chicken Marsala, pork ribs, chicken piccatta, crème brulee, panna cotta, grilled/fried turkey, and a number of side dishes to accompany.
Sean has a very large collection of wine and whiskey that he and his family love to share during events hosted at their home. Sean firmly believes that nothing brings people together like great food, great wine/spirits, and amazing company.
